Clover Health stock rose 4.3% on November 5, 2026 after a $6 million Q3 profit, 53% revenue growth to $759 million and higher full-year 2026 guidance.

Clover Health stock (CLOV) was up 4.26% in regular trading on November 5, 2026, the session after the Medicare Advantage insurer reported third-quarter results. Clover earned a GAAP net income of $6 million, compared with a $24 million loss a year earlier, and raised its full-year 2026 guidance.

Guidance is the company's forecast. Clover raised the low end of each range and kept the top end. Revenue is now expected at $2.97 billion to $3.00 billion, up from $2.92 billion to $3.00 billion. GAAP net income guidance moved to $25 million to $35 million, from $20 million to $35 million. Adjusted EBITDA guidance moved to $75 million to $85 million, from $70 million to $85 million.

The board also made Clay Thornton permanent CFO and named Joseph Oldakowski Chief Accounting Officer, effective November 4.

Why the stock rose 4.3%

The move was about twice a typical day's swing for the stock. The most likely driver was the return to quarterly profit alongside tighter medical costs. The insurance benefits expense ratio, the share of premium revenue paid out in medical claims, fell to 91.1% from 93.5%. That is an improvement of 240 basis points (2.4 percentage points). Clover also said its flagship PPO, which holds about 98% of members, received a 5 Star rating for Payment Year 2028.
