By Himma Editorial 2 min read

LYNX shares rose 25.2% on November 5, 2026 after Lyntris third quarter results showed revenue up 90% to $194 million and backlog hit $1,013 million.

Lyntris (NYSE: LYNX) shares were up 25.2% in regular trading on November 5, 2026, the first session after Lyntris third quarter results came out the previous evening. Revenue rose 90% year over year to $194 million, and backlog (the value of contracted work not yet turned into revenue) reached $1,013 million.

Lyntris third quarter results: what the company reported

Metric Q3 2026 Q3 2025 Change
Adjusted EBITDA $29 million $15 million +91%
Adjusted EPS $0.15 $0.02 +$0.13
Net loss $3.0 million $3.5 million Narrower
Operating cash flow $84 million inflow $3 million outflow Swing to positive
Free cash flow $79 million -$4 million outflow Swing to positive

Adjusted EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, excluding one-off and non-cash costs; adjusted EPS is profit per share on a similar basis. The net loss included a $7 million charge from refinancing debt, $5 million of stock-based pay and $3 million of acquisition and IPO costs.

All three business lines grew. Air & Missile Defense revenue rose 154% to $83 million as flagship radar programs moved into production, Space ISR & Resilient Communications rose 108% to $57 million, and Maritime Domain Awareness rose 29% to $54 million. For full-year 2026, the company expects revenue of $623 million to $630 million and adjusted EBITDA of $95.5 million to $97 million.

Why the stock rose 25.2%

The move was about five times the size of a typical day's swing for the stock. Backlog was the standout detail: it stood at $476 million at the end of 2025 and $924 million at the end of June, so the September figure is up 113% for the year. Organic growth of 89%, meaning growth not bought through acquisitions, showed nearly all of the revenue jump came from existing operations.

What to watch next

  • How quickly the $1,013 million backlog turns into reported revenue.

  • Fourth-quarter results against the full-year revenue range, with $435 million booked through nine months.

  • The net leverage ratio (debt minus cash, divided by a year of adjusted EBITDA), reported at 1.2x.
